The Brigade is an organization run by student veterans, for student veterans.

Started by a group of five students from some of the largest schools in downtown Chicago, we hope to bring together the veteran population and start to form a community for those of us in higher education in the area. There are many fantastic organizations in our nation that connect veterans with employment. Largely, their priority seems to be connecting veterans with employment directly after their time in the military. But for those of us looking to enter different fields, or get away from former job specialties - we’re left to use the misfitted tool kits provided by organizations looking to fix a different groups situation.

The Chicago Brigade is different. We understand and relate to the troubles faced by veterans finishing their education because we are in the exact same position. And no, this is not another club specifically for officers to get ahead. Our Brigade is unique in that it is primarily lead by former enlisted-men who know how to punch up and make things happen.
